Examination Gloves Manufacturing Activities
𧀠Mediniaga's Examination Gloves Dipping Plant
Precision Manufacturing for Medical-Grade Protection
At Mediniaga Plus Sdn Bhd, we pride ourselves on producing high-quality nitrile and latex examination gloves through a modern, automated dipping line process that emphasizes quality, hygiene, and efficiency. Our facility operates under strict GMP conditions to meet international safety standards.
π Step-by-Step Glove Manufacturing Process
π 1. Ceramic Formers Washing & Drying
Our process begins with washing reusable ceramic hand molds (formers) using hot water and brushes. This step removes residues and ensures perfect adhesion of the glove material in later steps.
π¦ 2. Coagulant Dipping
Once dried, the formers are dipped into a coagulant solution (usually calcium nitrate + calcium carbonate). This step preps the formers for latex or nitrile binding.
π 3. Latex / Nitrile Dipping
The formers then dip into latex or nitrile compound tanks, forming a thin glove layer around the mold. Multiple dipping stages may be used depending on glove thickness requirements.
π₯ 4. Pre-Vulcanization & Beading
After dipping, the gloves are beaded (rolled at the cuff for easier donning) and enter an oven tunnel to begin the vulcanization process, improving elasticity and strength.
π§Ό 5. Leaching (Hot Water Washes)
The partially cured gloves are leached in hot water baths to remove proteins and chemicals that could cause skin allergies.
β¨οΈ 6. Final Vulcanization (Curing)
Final curing solidifies the glove's structure and ensures it is durable, elastic, and resistant to punctures. This is done through precise heat control.
β 7. Stripping (Glove Removal)
Once fully cured, gloves are stripped automatically or manually from the formers and collected for testing and packaging.
π§ͺ 8. Quality Control & Testing
Our QC team performs random pin-hole tests, tensile strength tests, and visual inspections to ensure each batch meets ASTM D6319 / EN 455 standards.
π¦ 9. PackingΒ
Gloves are counted, packed into boxes, and sealed.Β
